It’s been a while and honestly I’ve just had a crazy Christmas period, hence being absent from the blog. A few weeks ago I was gifted a lightbox from Steph’s Lightboxes, an independent shop. Now admittedly, I had to google what one was before I agreed to a review and honestly it’s a lovely cosy home decor piece for my little flat.
Having a small flat means that I don’t have a lot of space to accessorise my living space. It’s actually been quite a struggle over the last few months, having no idea where to start with it all and the flat looking a little bit dark and dingy, in honesty. And this little lightbox is one of the things I’ve used to decorate my space.
The festive period is always my favourite. It means hot chocolates, cosy blankets and Christmas trees. 2017 at Christmas has been a particularly odd one as it’s the first time I’ve actually lived on my own in my own (rented) flat. I thought it would be lonely but it’s actually been really nice. Investing in my living space has been lovely. It totally lifts my mood. Whilst I’m totally excited to be surrounded by family this Christmas, I will still be staying in my flat as I’m working between Christmas and New Year. So I love having this box glowing in the corner.
These lightboxes are a lovely addition to my home. I wasn’t sure admittedly how it would look, but it’s totally cute. You can purchase/request custom lightboxes as well so if you have a sentimental piece you would like to be made, get in touch with Steph. For a cosy home decor piece, get in touch with Steph.
You can find more details about the boxes themselves here. You can pick up your own for just £15-20 dependent on the design.
