There’s just something about florals I’m so attracted to print-wise. This is why I have about 139495 dresses that have similar floral prints. What can I say, I like finding things I love that I will wear constantly. Recently I had to get rid of a few dresses that were just too old – They had a good life-span but sometimes you’ve just got to let things go (to charity shops). Boutique of Molly popped up in my inbox one day and well really, it was just fate. I chose, would you believe it, a floral dress.*
The dress is a bodycon style dress, but unlike a lot of bodycons this one is made of quite a thick material (95% polyester, 5% elastane). It works really well though as I know after a few washes the colour won’t fade, the material won’t get stretched and I won’t end up with something that shows my bra underneath. The sleeves and top are gathered but not in a really obvious way to make you look like you’re from the eighties, but in a really subtle way that just makes it feel more pulled together than your average cotton bodycon.
I’ve been wearing this to work and it’s also been really comfortable so far. Mine is in a size 14 and you can buy it for £34.95. Next time I’m going to be looking for dresses, Boutique of Molly is definitely a site I’m going to look at. This dress is only available in a size 10 at the moment, but keep an eye out for it!
My outfit of the days are gradually getting better, however I’m still ridiculously awkward in front of cameras, especially when others are taking the photo.
*I did receive a discount code for this dress, but everything I’ve said in this review is entirely honest. (Seriously, you should see my writing when it isn’t lol)
