LUSH & The Body Shop Haul & review!

I did it. I convinced myself that I need more bath products. Not only has it resulted in the ‘box’ (of bath products) becoming overflown, it has also dinted a wedge in my bank account. But do I regret it? Absolutely not. Because nothing says beauty blogger more than a LUSH dedicated post (or that’s how I justified it).

lush, the body shop, review, fresh handmade cosmetics, cosmetics, beauty products, body butter, bath bombs, review, soap

Writing this post I possibly think I should have labelled these products in the above photo. Ah well…

  1. Roses all the way soap (the one that looks like a rose): As soon as I saw this soap, I picked it up. I love mild rose scents and this is definitely not overwhelming. It’s infused with rose oil so is supposed to be super gentle.
  2. Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar: This is a bubble bar that smells like unicorns and rainbows (if they had a scent). Smells slightly of lavender, and is quite a strong floral scent. I can’t wait to try this out as it’s sure to be gorgeous!
  3. Sakura Bath Bomb: I’ve tried this bath bomb before and whilst it isn’t all singing and dancing in turns of turning the water funky colours, it is super calming. It’s got an quite intense LUSH fragrance, in very stereotypical LUSH fashion.
  4. Pumice Powder Foot Soap (The oval shaped one): Fancy pumice essentially. I’m starting to get really into treating my feet (pedicures etc.) as you feel like you’re walking on a cloud after one! It’s simultaneously moisturising and exfoliating – However I do wish it exfoliated a bit more. The orange scent also ‘reinvigorates’ your feet and they feel great after it.
  5. Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub (The blue square scrub): Okay okay, I did buy this because of how it looks. But I am super stoked to try it out. Who doesn’t love a good scrub?!

perfume, body butter, makeup, cosmetics, scrub, japanese cherry blossom, smoky poppy, lotion

Firstly, The Body Shop are having a HUGE sale at the moment and you should all take advantage of it. The Body Butter’s are beautiful – especially the scents. They won’t be re-releasing these scents and you should all stock up or at least have a smell of them the next time you’re in The Body Shop!

The Smoky Poppy body butter smells exactly like a Chai Latte. Exactly. It is gorgeous and if you’re a fan of smoky, cinnamon scents then this is one for you! It makes a huge change from the standard floral scented body shop body butters. It’s like a Disney Villain’s fragrance – or at least that’s what it reminds me of. I can take on the world with this scent. I will definitely be picking up the oil as well soon if it’s still available. They also do bath bombs of this scent, yes, bath bombs.

The Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter is a mild floral scent that I’ll be using in the Spring months. It’s less ‘heavy’ than the other body butters from the range and is one I use daily, rather than as an intensive cream! It makes me feel cute essentially.

Have you tried any products from this range?
