The other day I went on a massive Body Shop spree. I mean it’d be rude to not right when it’s 30% off all products with gift bags? That’s what I thought. Naturally I thought, ‘Hey let’s do a haul’ , so that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Plus I got a free gift. And they’ve had a massive revamp of their packaging and honestly it’s amazing.
My skin has currently been getting seriously dry and also spotty. Since working in the city, my skin now has teenage spots which you can imagine is just brilliant. I’m hoping that this toner will at least combat that as it’s an extra cleansing step. Plus it’s supposed to be hydrating and I love the Vitamin E range.
This really attracted me immediately. Firstly, it’s Summer and my ‘English Rose’ skin has taken a bit of a beating with the sun. What I like about this is that it’s not very heavy or feels like suncream. It feels like a light moisturiser, even though you still have to rub it in like suncream. Now I’m just on a mission to find something to top it up with throughout the day. (Recommendations appreciated.)
Cat (from More About Cat) mentioned that she was really sad about this being discontinued, and as someone who has been wanting to try this for a while, I decided to try it out. I’m hoping this is similar to my Oatifix mask from LUSH and it probably will be. It’s supposed to be great for dry skins and my weekly shave-everything-and-moisturise ritual after a bath is not the same without a face mask.
Surely these things are self-explanatory?
As a beauty and lifestyle blogger, can we all take a moment to appreciate the packaging of this one? (on the bottom right of the photo.) The British Rose Collection is quite sweet for Rose scents, but is really authentic. The granules are this are just perfect and I bloody love body scrubs.
Ever since I screwed up my feet, I’ve wanted to take better care of them. Even though a foot scrub probably doesn’t affect my severe flat feet, I still use it as an excuse to try products. Foot related products are so needed in everyone’s routine. Honestly it feels so much better after a pedicure.
I’ve always been wary of products that want to create a glow for my leggies or body generally. Simply because this usually means ‘bronzed’ and honestly I’m quite happy with being pale. I aint sorry. It’ll be interesting to see how it creates that glossy, shiny, I-have-amazing-legs look so I’ll keep you guys updated.
This came as part of a freebie with these products and I’m pretty happy. I love the body shop body butters and I currently own four of them. Is that testimony enough?
The follow on from the Coconut Body Butter – Again a classic scent!
Honestly how am I going to get through all these products? I’m not really sure. But I can sure as hell try. Plus this all cost £35 with 30% off and a £5 voucher. Body Shop Events happen throughout the year and keep an eye out for them as they’re great for skincare hoarders like myself.
