I have recently discovered a red lipstick combination that has made me incredibly happy. At the time, I was having a terrible day, for absolutely no reason (hence the slightly puffy eyes). Buying lipstick is a simple, short-way to cheer me up. (Red lipstick has bonus, happy points).
The lipstick in question is Bourjois Rouge No. 7 lip lacquer, I have completely fallen in love with this lipstick (lacquer?) formulation since it has been released, since it tends to compliment both my ginger hair and my pale skin. Not too blue-toned, not too warm toned. I combine it with MAC’s Auburn Lip pencil, one which got recommended to me by a mac makeup artist for Diva, however Auburn is significantly more lighter and warm-toned than diva so that doesn’t really work (nice1 mac).
Auburn works perfectly for those, what I would call, ‘hollywood reds’. It’s a bit darker, but this works as it adds a bit more definition, but also keeps it lasting for a lot longer on your lips.
I have also finished university FOREVER and expect some photos of my last few weeks in uni to be up on this blog, along with some reviews of some fashion tech stuff that I’ve discovered (cue ‘ooohhh’ of excitement). I am incredibly lucky to have secured an internship, which if successful will lead me on into a job in fashion PR (YAY!).
I will leave you with this lovely GIF of my face. (ooft lucky).
